Missouri Pacific was offering through service between St Louis and Mexico City in cooperation with the National Railways of Mexico. "The internationally famous Sunshine Special, in connection with National Railways of Mexico, Trains 4 and 1, under this arrangement carries a through drawing room-compartment sleeper between St Louis and Mexico City ... and in addition a library-dining car is operated between San Antonio and Mexico City."
