Although rebound in sturdy, institutional-style binding, with bibliographic notations on title page, there is no evidence of ex-library status. ; French language text. Covers the main building 1533-1628, as well as the two wings contructed 1835-1846. This building was destroyed during the French Commune uprising of 1871. The present City Hall in Paris retains the exterior style of the original, but has a completely different floor plan internally. This guidebook was very likely issued for the crowds visiting the 1855 Paris Universal Exposition. ; 102 pages.
